Terms of Service
Last updated October 20, 2026
Agreement
These terms apply when you use this website or hire Liia Koshelenko for iOS development services. By proceeding with a project, you agree to the terms confirmed for that project. If you do not agree, do not use the services.
Services and project scope
Services may include native iOS app development, SwiftUI features, bug fixes, interface design, API integration, and assistance preparing and submitting an app to the Apple App Store. The exact scope, deliverables, schedule, and fees will be agreed in writing before work begins. Website prices are starting estimates, not a binding quote.
Additional requests or changes outside the agreed scope may affect the price and timeline. Work on a project begins after the scope and payment terms have been confirmed.
Design and third-party services
UI design can be provided as an optional paid add-on if agreed in writing. Apple Developer Program membership, hosting, third-party APIs, software licences, and other external fees are not included unless the written quote says otherwise.
App Store review and approval are controlled by Apple and cannot be guaranteed. The client is responsible for maintaining any required Apple Developer account and for providing accurate app information, required permissions, and content rights.
Ownership
Project deliverables. Once full payment has been received, the client owns the project-specific code, documentation, and assets created specifically for their project.
Reusable tools. I retain ownership of pre-existing code, general know-how, reusable components, templates, workflows, and tools that are not created exclusively for the client. Any third-party or open-source materials remain subject to their own licences.
Confidentiality
Project information and materials shared privately will be treated as confidential and used to perform the agreed work. Any use of AI-enabled tools or external services that could process client materials should be discussed where relevant before those materials are submitted. No promise is made here about a third-party provider’s data practices; its own terms and settings may apply.
Client responsibilities
The client agrees to provide timely information, access, feedback, and approvals needed for the project, and confirms they have the rights to any content or materials they supply. The client is responsible for reviewing and acceptance-testing deliverables before using them in production, unless a separate maintenance or testing scope is agreed.
Payment, cancellation, and refunds
Payment milestones, deposits, invoices, and due dates will be confirmed in writing before work begins. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payments for work already completed and approved third-party costs are non-refundable. If a project is cancelled, the client is responsible for paying for work completed and expenses committed up to the cancellation date.
If a maintenance or recurring service is agreed, its billing period and cancellation terms will be specified separately. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.
Limitation
Reasonable care will be taken when delivering services, but software can contain defects and external platforms can change. To the extent permitted by law, I am not responsible for indirect or consequential losses, third-party outages, or decisions made by Apple or other external services. Any specific warranty or support period must be agreed in writing.
